Reorganizar o mini-jardim :: Reorganizing the mini-garden

One of my tasks for this week was: reorganizing my mini-garden
The tulips I had planted in late autumn, were all blossomed in March, and one month past it was time to decide what to do with them.

While the daffodils have won a permanent place in my mini-garden (and already offered us two blooms), the tulips had to go in order to leave room for the new seeds - I made such a complex mixture that I can't stand myself with so much anxiety: Will they blossom? Will they have the appearance that I pictured in my mind? Will they look well together?

Oh, if just patience could also be planted!...

More about my mini-garden, here and here and here.

Diálogo ou monólogo? :: Dialogue or monologue?

O cordão umbilical fornece a nossa nutrição.

Adoro!

From all the social networks, my favorite is Instagram, visually clean, no advertising, easy and immediate sharing, reduced to the essential.
A photo, a moment, a thought, a feeling, a discovery, an album of memories that I love to revisit, as much as this blog.

The story that I decided to post today is from Dr. Wayne Dyer, and I found it on @ellenfisher 's account, a vegan mother, who inspired me with her lifestyle, so different from mine.

"In a mother's womb were two babies. One asked the other: "Do you believe in life after delivery?"The other replied, "Why of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.""Nonsense," said the other. "There is no life after delivery. What would that life be?""I don't know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths."The other said, "This is absurd! Walking is impossible. And eating from our mouths? Ridiculous. The umbirical cord supplies nutrition. Life after delivery is to be excluded. The umbilical cord is too short.""I think there is something and maybe it's different than it is here."The other replied, "No one has ever come back from there. Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery it is nothing but darkness and anxiety and it takes us nowhere.""Well, I don't know," said the other, "but certainly we will see mother and she will take care of us." "Mother?! You believe in mother? Where is she now?""She is all around us. It is in her that we live. Without her, there would not be this world.""I don't see her, so it's only logical that she doesn't exist."To which the other baby replied, "Sometimes when you're in silence, you can hear her, you can perceive her. I believe there is reality after delivery and we are here to prepare ourselves for that reality.”

So, but so beautiful, so, but so pure, so, but so true. A bit of us all in this allegory, so many open possibilities for analyzes...  Love it!

Novo set de costura :: New sewing set

A wholehearted crafter must have her own inspiring sewing set, right?
That's what I've been working on.

My new sewing set composed by a wrist pincushion, a table pincushion and a small heart for my scissors.
Pink and pastel colors, just the right one for me.

De camisa de pijama a almofada :: From pajamas shirt to a pillow

**************************************

Every spring I do my best to clean out our closet.
I hate to accumulate stuff we don't use anymore - fengshuistas say that it blocks the energy :) - but at the same time I always look "twice" to each piece to perceive any extra potencial in each of them. Transforming isn't "hoarding", right?

The project I'm showing you today is the transformation of a pajamas shirt, that I used very little, into a cute pillow.
Can you unveil from the pictures, the simplicity of this project?
Easy but wow factor, don't you agree?

Páscoa Feliz :: Happy Easter

If you still have Easter almonds to offer, here's my inspiration for this year: a little basket made of paper plates and washi tape.

I wish you all a Happy Easter.
